Install Demand Control Ventilation

What Is It?

Demand-controlled ventilation systems use a sensor to monitor carbon dioxide (CO2) levels and activate ventilators when necessary. This delivers the optimal ventilation rate for a building’s actual occupancy level and is more efficient than normal ventilation systems, which run on a fixed-rate based on the assumption that the building is at maximum occupancy.

Benefits

Traditional ventilation systems waste energy because they run at rates that assume full occupancy of a building. However, buildings are rarely occupied at maximum capacity and a ventilation system that can adapt to actual occupancy levels will save energy without compromising indoor air quality. Reduced running times also extend the life of the blower and cut down on background noise in an office environment.
