What Is It?
Recycling construction waste requires separating materials such as masonry, doors, windows, metal, and cardboard, that either can be re-used directly or sent to recycling sites to be remade into other products. Recycling construction debris minimizes the amount of materials that go to landfills and incinerators.
Benefits
Most construction waste goes into landfills, increasing the risk of soil and water pollution. Recycling construction waste reduces the amount of waste that goes into landfills, thus reducing the potential for pollution. In addition, by using less-costly recycled construction materials, construction companies can lower their costs and pass the savings to their clients.
